1 cup butter, softened

2 cups sugar

3 eggs

1 carton (15 ounces) ricotta cheese

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

4 cups all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon baking soda

- Turn oven on to 350 degrees

- Use a large bowl to mix together the butter, sugar, eggs, vanilla, ricotta cheese, flour, baking soda, and salt

- Make spoonfuls of this Italian Christmas cookie dough onto a baking sheet

- Bake for 10-12 minutes

- Top with sprinkles

This is an authentic Italian Christmas Cookie Recipe. Extremely good! My kids will eat this cookies over chocolate chip cookies which says a lot.
