Ingredients for Butterscotch Cookie Recipe


   2 tablespoons butter, softened
   2 tablespoons shortening
   1 cup packed brown sugar
   1 egg
   1 teaspoon vanilla extract
   1-1/2 cups all-purpose flour
   3/4 teaspoon baking soda
   3/4 teaspoon cream of tartar
   1/4 teaspoon salt
   1/4 cup English toffee bits
   1/4 cup finely chopped pecans

Directions for Butterscotch Cookie Recipe

- Preheat the over to 375
- Use a large bowl, mix together the butter, sugar, egg, vanilla and shortening
- Mix in the flour, salt, baking soda, and cream of tartar
- Lastly add in the english toffe and chopped pecans
- Refrigerate for 3-4 hours
- Get out a baking pan and make spoonfuls of the butterscotch cookie dough
-Bake for 10 minutes
What an interesting butterscotch cookie recipe. I usually just stick to the classics so this was a very nice surprise.
